The
Indian Mojari
Rajasthan is famous for its chivalry and vibrance, for its pulsating music and lively
colors. We now bring to you a unique footwear from this land of dreams; "Mojari".
"Mojari", which was earlier known as Nagra or Juti: footwear fit for the Kings and Queens. Now it is for you.
The reason why you would find these footwear so comfortable is because they becomes a part of your body, mind and soul. Wonderful insulation - whether in the heat of the summer or freezing winters, these footwear keep the inside close to your body temperature. Since, mostly vegetable tanned leather from fallen animals is used, they are
free from carcinogenic chemicals such as Penta Chloro Phenol (PCP) and Azo
dyes.
Mojaris are worn by men, women and kids alike, with just about any traditional
Indian dress - be it Churidar Kurta, Sherwani or even a Sari. We present a range of ornamental mojaris, which represent India's royal families. Needless to say, these mojaris are delicate and may be used for occasional party wear.
We attempt to bring traditional Indian footwear right at your doorstep. Mostly made of pure camel skin, these Mojaris originate from Rajasthan, which is a princely state in India. The rural artisans mostly use vegetable tanned leather which has excellent thermal insulation qualities. The inside temperature of the footwear measured 31° C, which is almost the body temperature. Even the bonding of uppers with the sole is with cotton threads and silk threads which is not only eco-friendly but enmeshes the leather
fibers with great strength. They have no left right distinction and are inevitably flat soled. They take the shape your feet giving a comfortable walking experience.
